Kalpataru Projects International Bags Rs. 23.49 bn Orders

Kalpataru Projects International said on Wednesday that it had secured new work orders worth Rs. 23.49 bn. The orders cover engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) activities in the domestic market, spanning the transmission and distribution (T&D) and buildings and factories (B&F) segments.

The company disclosed the order win in a statement but did not provide project-level details, including the identities of the customers, the locations of the work or the individual value of the contracts. The announcement nevertheless adds to its order inflows for the current financial year and covers two of the business areas in which it operates.

Manish Mohnot, managing director and chief executive officer of Kalpataru Projects International, said the company’s year-to-date order inflows for FY27 had crossed Rs. 220 bn. He attributed the performance to strong momentum and said the level of inflows positioned the company for sustainable future growth.

The latest orders relate to domestic projects in transmission and distribution, as well as buildings and factories. The company’s EPC activities in these segments form part of a broader portfolio that includes power infrastructure and construction-related work across India.

Kalpataru Projects International provides EPC solutions across several sectors. Its activities include power transmission and distribution, buildings and factories, water supply and treatment, railways, oil and gas infrastructure, urban mobility, highways and airports.

The company uses the KPIL abbreviation in its corporate profile and has positioned itself as a diversified infrastructure services provider. Its stated sector coverage gives it exposure to utility, transport, industrial and public infrastructure projects, while the latest announcement specifically concerns orders in the domestic T&D and B&F businesses. The company said its cumulative FY27 order inflows had now exceeded Rs. 220 bn, following the addition of the new Rs. 23.49 bn contracts.
