Oil India sets up green hydrogen plant in Assam

Oil India Limited is setting up a green hydrogen manufacturing plant at its Jorhat oilfield in Assam. The company has already started the work of setting up a 100 kW green hydrogen plant at its pump station 3 in Jorhat to strengthen its green energy offerings. It added that the plant would produce green hydrogen using an Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM) technology, and it is a first- of- its  kind project in India. Pankaj Kumar Goswami, Director of Operations, Oil India said that the hydrogen generated will be combined with natural gas using the existing infrastructure of the plant.Contact: Oil IndiaWebsite: www.oil-india.com
