The final draught of the Shimla Development Plan, which includes new guidelines for the number of floors, habitable attic and garage in a structure, was approved by the Himachal Pradesh cabinet. The draught plan given by the urban development department was approved by the cabinet at a meeting presided over by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. After the meeting, Industries Minister Harsvardhan Chauhan gave a press briefing and noted that there are different guidelines for different regions.
