PNC Infratech is making news. The company, under the leadership of its Managing Director Yogesh Kumar Jain has recently bagged orders worth Rs.35.82 billion from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for widening of road projects in Uttar Pradesh. In a BSE filing, the company said that it has received a Letter of Award (LoA) for the four-laning of the Aligarh-Kanpur section from 356 km to 414 km, under Package-V of the Mitrasen-Kanpur section of NH-91 in the state. It has also received a LoA for the four-laning of the Jagdishpur-Faizabad section from 47.93 km to 107.68 km of NH-330A in the state. Both these projects have been bagged under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) under the Bharatmala Pariyojana initiative of the government. Indeed, addition of these two projects will bring immense cheer to the company's order book position.
