The East-West Metro's Seldah link has begun commercial service as per reports. The train will travel 9 km in 21 minutes from Sector V to Seldah at 10-minute intervals and will cost Rs.10. Once the entire 16-km corridor is connected via the Hooghly River in the coming year, Howrah Maidan station will become one of the East- West Metro's terminal stations. Since March 2020, Line 2 of the Kolkata metro has run from Sector V to Phoolbagan, a distance of 6.6 km in six stations. Contact: Kolkata Metro Website: mtp.indianrailways.gov.in
