Navani Family Buys Ultra Luxury Apartment In Worli

Radhi Girish Navani, the wife of Girish Navani, chief executive and co-founder of healthcare technology firm eClinicalWorks, has acquired an ultra-luxury apartment at Naman Xana on Worli Sea Face for Rs1.622 billion (bn). The unit spans about 6,458 sq ft and was purchased for an effective rate of around Rs0.25 million (mn) per sq ft, placing it among Mumbai's costliest residential transactions on a per-sq-ft basis. The purchase price and area are recorded in property registration documents accessed by Zapkey.com.

The apartment occupies a higher floor of the development and has a RERA carpet area of 600 sq m, comprising a 540 sq m apartment and a 60 sq m balcony, equivalent to roughly 5,812 sq ft and 646 sq ft respectively. The property includes four dedicated car parking spaces and was acquired from Carp Estate Private Limited and Shree Naman Residency Private Limited. The deal reflects sustained demand for sea-facing homes in a location with limited supply and premium views.

The transaction was registered on July three, 2026, and the purchaser paid stamp duty of about Rs81.1 mn. The agreement notes that a one per cent concession in stamp duty was availed because the property was registered in a woman's name in line with the Maharashtra government's policy. Representatives for the purchaser and the developer were not available for comment.

The sale follows a series of high-value transfers at Naman Xana and Worli Sea Face, where wealth from healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors has been conspicuous in recent years. In May 2026 a Godrej family member bought two sea-facing apartments in the same tower for more than Rs2.94 bn at about Rs0.254 mn per sq ft, and in May 2025 she purchased a duplex for over Rs2.26 bn. In 2025 the chairperson of USV bought two sea-facing duplexes at Naman Xana for Rs6.39 bn, paid nearly Rs639 mn in stamp duty and taxes and took the total to about Rs7.03 bn.
