Retail Mind Group Enters Indian Retail Real Estate Market

Retail Mind Group, a Portugal-headquartered retail and real estate management firm established in 2012, has launched operations in India as part of its international expansion strategy. The company aims to bring its global expertise to India's growing retail and commercial property sectors.

Operating across four countries, the Group has undertaken projects in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America. It has been involved in more than 2,000 store openings and 1,100 projects across international markets.

Through Retail Mind India, the company plans to assist Indian brands in expanding domestically and internationally while supporting global retailers entering the Indian market. Its services include retail expansion, leasing strategy, franchise development, asset management, property management and retail real estate development.

The Group will also work with developers, property owners and investors on location planning, leasing and mixed-use developments covering retail, hospitality and commercial properties. Its India operations will combine international experience with local market knowledge to support investment decisions, business expansion and project execution.

Commenting on the expansion, Vitor Rocha, CEO, Retail Mind Group, said India represented an important market in the company's international growth strategy. He emphasised the Group's commitment to bringing global retail and property expertise to India while promoting Indian retail and real estate projects internationally.

Pinkesh Shah, Partner and Co-owner, Retail Mind India, highlighted opportunities across established retail markets and emerging destinations. He stated that successful retail expansion required strategic planning, market understanding and effective execution beyond identifying suitable locations.

India's rising consumption, economic growth and improving infrastructure are creating opportunities for retail development beyond major metropolitan areas. Changing consumer preferences and evolving retail formats are also encouraging domestic and international brands to reassess their expansion strategies.

Retail Mind Group aims to leverage these developments by providing retail management and real estate solutions tailored to India's changing market requirements.
