Window Magic joins BDD Chawls project

Window Magic has been associated with the redevelopment of the historic Bombay Development Department Chawls in Worli, Mumbai, being executed by the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority. The project will transform the 1920s low-rise chawls into 33 modern residential towers of up to 40 floors each.
The redevelopment will create 8,976 residential units and is being implemented in phases. Phase 1, comprising eight towers, is expected to be completed by May or June 2026, while Phase 2, covering 25 towers, is tentatively scheduled for completion by April 2030.
Window Magic will supply and install 61,875 aluminium window units across all 33 towers. The company said its aluminium fenestration systems are designed to offer durability, energy efficiency and modern aesthetics for large-scale urban housing projects.
Manish Bansal, Managing Director, Window Magic, said the company was honoured to support the redevelopment and thanked MHADA for entrusting it with the delivery of aluminium fenestration solutions for the project.
