Wipro Secures Multi-Million Dollar IT Deal with Etihad Airways

Wipro has been chosen by Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, to lead a major technology modernisation initiative. Although the financial details of the five-year contract were not disclosed, Wipro will oversee the migration of legacy systems and enhance operational efficiency across key areas such as workplace, network, infrastructure, and service management. 

Wipro's FullStride Cloud will deliver a tailored cloud-based solution, providing Etihad Airways with real-time insights into resource utilisation and boosting agility and scalability for its global operations. Additionally, GenAI will enable intelligent device management and proactive disruption resolution. 

As part of the partnership, Etihad Airways will have access to Wipro's Innovation Lab in the UAE, which will play a crucial role in adapting technology to meet the airline's evolving needs. 

Wipro has been operating in the Middle East for over two decades, employing thousands and providing local talent opportunities to serve clients across the region.
