NBCC Wins Rs 2.95 Billion Project at IIT Mandi

National Buildings Construction Corporation Ltd (NBCC) has secured a Rs 2.95 billion contract from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mandi for the development of multiple infrastructure facilities on its campus. The project is scheduled for completion within 30 months, the company said in a regulatory filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Under the scope of the contract, NBCC will construct academic buildings, a guest house, gymnasium, hospital, and an auditorium, significantly enhancing the institute’s academic and residential infrastructure.

NBCC also clarified that its investors or group companies are not involved in the IIT Mandi project, in response to queries surrounding project interest and association.

The award further strengthens NBCC’s portfolio of institutional infrastructure developments, aligning with its core focus on government-backed construction projects across India.
