Waterproofing conference to unite global industry leaders

The Waterproofers Association of India will organise the second India International Waterproofers Conference & Expo from 6–7 August 2026 at Pullman New Delhi Aerocity.

The event will bring together waterproofing professionals, manufacturers, architects, consultants, contractors, builders, developers, asset owners, government agencies and public-sector organisations from India and overseas markets.

Sandeep Chaudhry, President, Waterproofers Association of India, said the association aims to provide a unified voice and professional platform for the waterproofing industry. He added that waterproofing remains a critical yet often overlooked part of the construction sector.

The two-day event will include technical presentations and panel discussions covering climate-responsive design, risk assessment, basement waterproofing, water-retaining structures, synthetic membrane welding, surface preparation, mechanised application and quality assurance.

Sessions will also examine performance-based specifications, durable waterproofing solutions for extreme climates and ways to balance faster construction with long-term performance.

The conference is expected to host more than 550 delegates, including around 55 international participants from China, South Korea, Germany and the UAE. It will feature over 20 industry speakers, five panel discussions and 53 exhibition booths showcasing technologies, materials, equipment and solutions.

The event will also explore the use of business automation and artificial intelligence to improve documentation, contract management, operational efficiency, cash-flow protection and dispute prevention.
