Maccaferri Appoints Vikramjiet Roy as Head of Global Sales Strategy

Officine Maccaferri, a global provider of civil and environmental engineering solutions, has appointed Vikramjiet Roy as Head of Global Sales Performance & Strategy as part of its efforts to strengthen commercial leadership and support its next phase of global growth.

Roy will report directly to Group CEO Stefano Susani and will be responsible for strengthening the company's global commercial architecture, driving sales excellence initiatives, supporting strategic growth opportunities and enhancing integration across regions, business units and customer segments.

Having previously led Maccaferri's India and Southeast Asia Pacific operations, Roy played a key role in expanding the company's presence across high-growth infrastructure markets while strengthening customer relationships and driving sustainable business growth in the region.

In his new role, Roy will focus on advancing global account management, developing commercial capabilities, adopting digital sales enablement tools and identifying revenue synergies across Maccaferri's diversified portfolio of engineering solutions. He will also work towards accelerating growth in key markets such as North America, India, Southeast Asia and the Pacific, and the Middle East and Africa, while leveraging the company's established presence in Europe and Latin America.
The appointment reflects Maccaferri's continued evolution into a globally integrated engineering solutions company focused on delivering sustainable and value-driven solutions across sectors including transportation, urban infrastructure, environmental protection, geohazard mitigation and hydraulic works.

Commenting on his appointment, Roy said he looked forward to strengthening strategic customer relationships and delivering integrated solutions to address global infrastructure and environmental challenges. He added that the company would continue to build on its position as a climate change adaptation engineering specialist while driving sustainable growth across markets.

Founded in 1879, Officine Maccaferri operates more than 20 manufacturing facilities across four continents, employs over 3,000 people and has a commercial presence in more than 130 countries. The company reported revenues of approximately €650 million as of December 31, 2024.
