VB Group Appoints Rishikesh R Ranga as CEO

VB Group has appointed Rishikesh R Ranga as its Chief Executive Officer as the Mumbai-based real estate developer prepares to expand its development pipeline and scale operations across Mumbai and Thane.

Ranga, who has nearly 17 years of experience across financial services, real estate, sales, marketing and business development, will lead the company's growth strategy, project acquisitions, development planning, capital deployment and organisational expansion.

VB Group is targeting potential sales inventory of around ₹10,000 crore over the next two years. The company also plans to expand its workforce from about 70–80 employees to around 300.

Ranga began his career in financial services with Aditya Birla Group and Bajaj Allianz before moving into the real estate sector. He was part of Lodha Group's sales team and subsequently worked with developers including Supreme Universal, Dudhwala Group and Piramal Realty.

His experience includes premium and luxury residential real estate across Mumbai markets such as Bandra, Khar, Santacruz and South Mumbai.

As part of his mandate at VB Group, Ranga will focus on strengthening the company's project pipeline and evaluating new development opportunities based on location, product positioning, pricing, execution and market demand.

VB Group has delivered nine projects covering approximately 1.3 million sq ft and currently has around 1.8 million sq ft under development across Mumbai and Thane.

The appointment comes as the developer seeks to transition towards a larger, professionally managed development platform and expand its presence in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
