One-sided outrigger in concrete boom pump enters India

Schwing now offers a one-sided outrigger system for concrete boom pumps that makes it easy to set up in tight areas with long booms. “Operators can set up with a smaller footprint by deploying only the outriggers on one side and pump safely at maximum extension,” explains VG Sakthikumar, Managing Director, Schwing Stetter India Pvt Ltd, Convenor for Membership Committee, ICEMA, and Chairman of the Mechanisation Committee, Builders Association of India. Currently, the EASy system is standard on the S 43 SX Schwing truck-mounted concrete boom pump. All allowable one-sided scenarios available are integrated in Schwing’s vector controls. With both outriggers on the working side fully extended, operators can enjoy maximum reach and 140° slewing range. EASy Flex expands the boom slewing range to 200° with maximum extension by extending the opposite side front outrigger two-thirds. Safety features protect the pump and the operator, both during the critical set-up phase and during operations.

Other new product and technology innovations from Schwing Stetter India include the Schwing stationary concrete pump SP 1420 D RMC, Stetter batching plant M3 compartment batcher, Stetter batching plant M25 Z, Stetter super seven concrete transit mixer with Schwing smartrack, Stetter self-loading mixer SLM 2200 NSV, and Stetter self-loading mixer SLM 4000 NSV.
