TimBuckDo Raises Bridge Round Ahead of USD 5 Million Series A

TimBuckDo, a Bengaluru-based on-demand convenience platform, has recently raised a bridge funding round backed by Srinath Setty, Co-Founder and CEO of Hosachiguru, through his family office Trasa Ventures, and Adarsh Narahari, Founder and Managing Director of Primus Senior Living.

The company has not disclosed the size or valuation of the bridge round. The funding comes as TimBuckDo prepares to raise a USD 5 million Series A round in the coming months.

TimBuckDo operates a network of verified college students, referred to as “Doers”, who provide on-demand assistance to individuals and organisations. Its service categories include elder companionship, pet care, child support, assistance for home-based businesses and other everyday convenience requirements. The platform also provides flexible earning opportunities for college students alongside their education.

Srinath Setty joins the round through Trasa Ventures, bringing experience from the managed farmland and real estate sector. Adarsh Narahari’s investment has a strategic connection with TimBuckDo’s Companion Doer vertical, which provides elderly customers with student Doers for companionship, errands and hospital escort support.

TimBuckDo plans to use the bridge capital to strengthen its technology platform, expand its Doer network, deepen its presence across existing markets and develop key service categories ahead of the Series A round.

The company is building a marketplace connecting verified student workers with households and businesses seeking on-demand support. It said repeat bookings across early pilot markets are emerging as an indicator of demand for the platform.

TimBuckDo is also backed by Rukam Capital, Turbostart and Arjun Vaidya, among other investors. The company has partnered with organisations including Decathlon, Aditya Birla and ONDC.
