RailTel Secures Work Order For IGAS At Deendayal Port

RailTel Corporation of India (RailTel) has received a work order from Deendayal Port Authority for the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning and subsequent operation and maintenance of an Integrated Gate Automation System (IGAS) at Kandla. The company said the disclosure was made pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements and referenced the SEBI master circular filed as Annexure A, and requested that the information be taken on record. The work order was recorded on 12 August 2026 at 12:00 and the issuance was approved by the executive director, western region.

The scope of work covers end to end delivery of the Integrated Gate Automation System and comprises hardware supply, systems integration, site testing and commissioning and five years of operation and maintenance. The contract has been awarded by a domestic authority at Kandla and the engagement is described as a work order for port gate automation, intended to mechanise access and processing at port gates.

The size of the order as stated in the work order is Rs. 63,00,36,301 excluding tax, which converts to Rs. 630.04 mn. This is approximately Rs. 63.00 crore when expressed in the Indian numbering convention. The company confirmed that the order does not involve any promoter or promoter group interest in the awarding authority and that the transaction does not constitute a related party transaction.

RailTel noted that the contract is to be executed by 16 August 2031 and that the receipt time recorded on the work order was 12:00 hours on 12 August 2026. The filing stated that there was no delay in reporting and that the communication is computer generated, obviating the need for a signature. The company requested stakeholders and regulators to take note of the disclosure on record.
