GIC and ESR Group have announced an 80:20 strategic partnership to establish a $600 million JV to acquire income-producing industrial and logistics assets in India. The initial capital pool will invest in development and value-add logistics, and the upgradation of assets as required and adding sustainability elements. L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) has rolled out a digital payment-enabled metro ticket booking through WhatsApp eTicketing facility in association with its delivery partner Billeasy. Commuters can now purchase an e-Ticket on their WhatsApp number, which can be displayed at the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC). Nuvoco Vistas has recently received the prestigious Green Pro certification for six of its ready-mix concrete plants. Patencheru, Miyapur (Hyderabad), Whitefield (Bengaluru), Sanathal (Gujarat), Noida (Uttar Pradesh) and Gurgaon (Haryana) received the IGBC-CII “Greenpro Ecolabel” for producing Ecodure - Green Concrete. Vedanta Aluminium has announced that its products are now Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certified. In total, the company has received 15 certifications for its products and their applications.
