November 2012

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy assured L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad, which implements metro rail project in the city, that the state government would resolve issues related to the project.

During a meeting with L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad Chairman YM Deosthalee and Managing Director VB Gadgil, Reddy said the special task force headed by the Chief Secretary would meet more frequently and resolve issues.

The company officials met the chief minister and apprised him about the progress of the project. Depot works at Uppal and Miyapur and casting yard works at Uppal are progressing at a brisk pace, they said.

Deosthalee said L&T will mobilise more machinery and manpower if additional work fronts are given to them in the metro rail corridors.
