Anil Sardana, CEO & Managing Director, Tata Power, is on a 'renew' spree. His company's Renewable business has registered a healthy profit while surpassing the 2,000 MW operating capacity mark with another about 500 MW under construction. Moreover, Tata Power's non-fossil fuel based green generation portfolio (comprising of hydro, waste gas, solar and wind) has crossed the 3,000 mark and now stands at 3,141 MW. Under the directorship of Sardana, the company continues to be the largest renewable player in the country. Further, in keeping with its commitment to generate 30-40 per cent power by 2025 through renewable sources of energy, Tata Power has added 1,350 MW of renewable capacity during the year, thereby making it the largest green portfolio company in India. Evidently, Sardana is determined to continue working towards ensuring the company's business remains the largest 'renew'able in the country.
