My Home Industries plans Rs 400 cr expansion
My Home Industries Ltd in Visakhapatnam has planned a Rs 400 crore expansion of its cement plant. The work would involve, among others, development of two support rail links for transport of raw materials and cement, and the setting up
of a 60 MW captive power project near the Nalgonda project site. With this expansion, the company’s capacity at the Vizag plant will be about 4.5 mn tonne. The captive power plant, with an outlay of Rs 250 crore, is expected to be ready for commissioning by December 2011. This will take the installed capacity of the company’s captive capacity up from 20 MW to 80 MW.
