Light India International 2018 (Lii 2018) will be held in Mumbai from January 19-21, 2018.<br /> A major lighting exhibition - Light India International 2018 (Lii 2018) - will be held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre from January 19-21, 2018. This mega event, organised by the Indian Society of Lighting Engineers (ISLE) with event management by i ads &amp; events, is configured to address the smart city electrification concepts in India through seminars and product display. <p></p> <p>Organising technical conferences and trade shows has been an important part of ISLE's activities. The first such major event was held in 1991 under the name PRAKASH '91. In 2002, it was re-christened as Light India International. Lii-2008 was held in New Delhi in February 2008, Lii 2011 and 2013 were held in Chennai and Lii 2015 in Kolkata. </p> <p> <span style="font-weight: bold;">Lighting all over</span><br /> Lii 2018 will cover all segments of lighting. It will not only highlight the latest, but also the futuristic trends in all segments of lighting. The US$ 2 billion lighting industry in India is witnessing a double-digit growth with the new LED technology, thanks to the emphasis being given on infrastructure development. The theme of the event is 'LED &amp; SOLAR - A sustainable Development'. Lii 2018 will be different from the previous editions because of the expected emphasis planned for the participation of leaders in these areas in the exhibition of their products and sharing their expertise during the technical seminars.</p> <p> (Communication by the management of the company)</p>
