Allcargo Logistics is an integrated multinational logistics company headquartered in India. Part of the Avvashya Group, the organisation operates across 90 plus countries through their 200 plus offices that are located globally.

Its services include global multimodal transport operations (NVOCC, LCL and FCL), pan-India CFS or ICD operations, project and engineering solutions (project logistics and equipment hiring solutions), ship owning and chartering and 3PL and warehousing services.

Multimodal transport operations
NVOCC: These services include Less than Container Load (LCL) consolidation, Full Container Load (FCL) activities and value-added services globally. The company´s international subsidiary ECU-LINE is among the world´s largest LCL service providers and it is also among the global leaders in NVOCC service providers.

CFS & ICD operations
The company owns and operates six world class CFS and ICD facilities pan-India, which includes four CFSs, two in Mumbai-JNPT, one in Mundra and Chennai and an ICD each in Kheda-Pithampur and Dadri. These facilities comprise the best in class equipment and technology such as the Rubber Tyred Gantry Cranes (RTGCs), Reach Stacker, touch screen Kiosks, etc. The company is amongst the first few CFS operators to introduce RFID based tracking system to manage container operations.

Project and engineering solutions
The company specialises in managing end-to-end project logistics by providing services such as planning to movement of the project cargo, out of gauge or over dimensional cargo, over-weight consignments on turnkey and door-to-door basis, route surveys and multimodal or location transportation.

It also offers world class equipment solutions with its fleet of over 1,000 equipment and specialised vehicles. The company offers a complete range of cranes such as crawler, telescopic, truck lattice and all-terrain, hydraulic axles and self-propelled modular transporters (SPMTs), strand jacks, trailers (low bed, semi low bed and high bed), fork-lifts and reach stackers to its customers. The organisation also has an international tie-up with Mammoet, a global leading company in hoisting and transportation of heavy objects over water and roads. It has the capacity to provide cranes ranging from 40 MT to 3,600 MT.

Ship owning and chartering
The company provides coastal shipping services in bulk, break-bulk and project cargo shipping across Indian and other sub continental ports. These services are delivered through the company´s owned fleet of three general cargo vessels.

3PL and warehousing
The company also provides 3PL and supply chain solutions with strategic warehousing facilities across Mumbai (Bhiwandi), Goa, Pithampur (Madhya Pradesh) and Hosur (Tamil Nadu). It also plans to operate warehouses in Nagpur, Indore, Hyderabad and Bengaluru soon.

International connect
Allcargo Logistics also owns leading multinational companies in the logistics space such as ECU Hold NV Belgium, one of the world´s largest LCL service providers operating from Antwerp, Econocaribe Consolidators, one of the leading NVOCC service provider operating from US and FCL Marine Agencies Rotterdam specialising in FCL services.

CSR activities
  • Under the Avvashya Foundation, Allcargo Logistics supports numerous corporate social responsibility initiatives. Some of the initiatives are mentioned below:
  • Recently, the foundation undertook the task of supplying water free of cost to drought affected areas of Maharashtra. It also supplied essential medicines to the flood relief programme in Uttarakhand.
  • It operates two medical support centers at Mumbai´s leading public hospitals Sion and Nair hospital, which are operated under the flagship programme of ´Jeevan´. It provides financial support for essential surgeries, ailment investigation, medicinal support, pre and post child birth maternal checkups, across ailments from cancer, neurology, orthopedics, ENT, gynecology, skin, dental to specific critical illness such as to cancer, tuberculosis and others, for the underprivileged and the economically challenged citizens of the society. The center at Nair hospital is dedicated to provide treatment and support for cancer patients.
  • The foundation also constructed three schools at Pircon, Koproli and Pedgaon in the Raigad district of Maharashtra. This initiative benefitted over 1,000 students in and around the region. The foundation also provides education scholarship and student adoption programmes. The flagship assistance programme has benefited over 2,000 students to complete basic and primary education.
