Delivering solutions that offer increased versatility and more profit to excavator users is the key to Miller's success across India. The Miller Quick Coupler was first introduced to India in 2009, it is now recognised as the safe, fast, efficient and reliable way to change between attachments and maximise the potential of the machine through increased productivity. The company has now introduced its second revolutionary product, the 'Scoop Bucket', through which it brings 35 years of its bucket design experience.

The Miller Scoop

The unique and patented design of Miller Scoop optimises its performance and lowers operating costs. Specifically designed to be used with a Miller Quick Coupler, the Scoop has integrated bucket pins that reduce the pin to point dimension.

"The Scoop bucket is a revolutionary design that works effortlessly with the Miller Coupler, put simply the Miller Coupler and Scoop combination is the most versatile, efficient and productive system available" says Jacqui Miller, Global Sales and Marketing Director, Miller India Groundbreaking Pvt Ltd.

The machine has been tested and proven in all types of working environments and applications around the world, it increases machine power, saves fuel and increases the bucket pay load resulting in extra productivity equating to more profit.

"When digging with the Scoop we saved seven gallons of fuel over two working days" states Bill Addison, Managing Director, Addison Plant, England who has been using the Miller Scoop and coupler for many years.

Inventive Features

The Scoop profile enables the bucket to cut through the ground more effectively with minimal resistance and drag as compared to the traditional flat bottom style buckets. The self-fill action gives an increased pay load. These combined benefits result in time and fuel savings.

"You could really feel the difference when digging with the Scoop" adds Addision. In order to provide its customers with accurate and factual information on the performance of the Scoop bucket, Miller conducted independent field evaluations where the Scoop was tested against leading buckets available from other manufacturers. Results from the Scoop trials highlighted a number of benefits including improved machine cycle times, increased payloads, less fuel consumption and overall more productivity.

Prior to the official launch of the Scoop bucket, which will be held at bC India 2013 in February; one of Miller's customers in Gujarat has already recognised the potential benefits and invested in the Coupler and Scoop Bucket combination. National Mining Industries headed by Satish Patel is always looking for innovative, modern techniques to improve its mining and quarrying processes.

Patel said, "We believe in buying the best quality products out there and the addition of the Miller Coupler and Scoop bucket to our fleet guarantees additional productivity and reduces hassle at site."
