Construction equipment ind to see 30 per cent growth

The construction equipment industry in India is expected to clock a growth of $12-13 bn by 2015. The current size of the industry is around $2.5 bn. The economic slowdown has affected the industry's growth by 10 to 15 per cent particularly in the second half from July to December 2008. However, the industry players are confident of growing by about 28 to 30 per cent during the H2 of 2009.
