Elliott introduces a 36 tonne boom truck

US-based construction eq-uipment manufacturer Elliott Equipment Company has in-troduced a new boom truck, 36127R, which is a rearmoun-ted variant of its popular 36127F 36 US tonne boom truck. Both versions of the 36127 have a 34 ft 5 inch (10 m) retracted and 127 ft (39 m) extended five-section boom with an optional 26 to 45 ft (8 to 14 m) telescopic jib for a maximum vertical reach of 186 ft (57 m). With features including aluminium tread plate bed wings, internal anti-two block, a full-length subframe, and Elliott's Dyna-smooth controls, the 36127 is a leader in performance and value in its class. The new 36127R includes Elliott's 12,800 pound (5.8 metric tonne) bare-drum pull two-speed planetary winch with a 9,060 pound (4 metric tonne) single line pull and 425 ft (130 m) of rotation resistant wire rope.
