Aurangabad Municipal Corporation to use paver blocks for covering potholes

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has decided to use paver blocks to cover potholes on city main roads. The use of paver blocks is a fast and reliable method to cover potholes. It is likely to sustain pressure of heavy traffic flow on busy roads. It would take around 15-20 days to complete the work. The civil body plans to use wet mix for filling up small potholes.A road stretch of 200 km is identified and it is estimated that Rs 1.2 cr will be spent to cover these potholes. As per AMC Executive Engineer Sikander Ali, around 30% roads in the city had developed potholes and the recently constructed roads are intact.
