Alstom India to join hands with BHEL, NPCIL
Alstom India, a subsidiary of French firm Alstom, is in discussions with state-run Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) and Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL) to join in as a third partner in their proposed joint-venture.
In April 2008, public sector majors BHEL and NPCIL signed an agreement to form a joint venture for providing engineering, procurement and construction services in nuclear power sector.
