J&K govt to expand capacity

The Jammu and Kashmir government is planning to ex­pand power capacity in the state through various power pro­jects. These include the 400 MW Karthai hydro electric power project, 990 MW Karthai-II unit, 93 MW New Ganderbal, 48 MW Lower Kalnai and the 60 MW Parnai projects.
