NSL Power plans to set up 1,320 MW project

NSL Power has signed an MoU with the Orissa Government for setting up a 1,320 (2x660) MW coal-based power plant at an estimated cost of Rs 6,600 crore. The project will come up in the Anugul district of Orissa. The project will need 1,000-1,200 acre and the company has been in the process of securing environmental clearances. It will also soon follow up with financial closure towards the end of this calendar year.
