Power min may amend UMPP bidding norms

In a move to benefit power projects based on imported coal, the power ministry plans to make amendments in the bidding documents for upcoming ultra mega power projects to accommodate changes in international coal prices. The power ministry has discussed this proposal with the coal and law ministries and is awaiting their response.
