Power projects to get coal supply

NTPC, Reliance Power and Lanco Infratech are among the 12 companies to receive coal for their newly commissioned power projects with a combined capacity of 12,200 MW.Projects to be commissioned in the first quarter this year will get only 40 percent of assured supply by Coal India, while those set up in 2009-10 and 2010-11 will receive around 70-78 per cent of committed quantity.
