ReNew Power receives around Rs.2,327 cr

An independent producer of wind and solar power - ReNew Power has raised about Rs 835 crore from three investors in their second round of funding and now plans to go public in a year. The total equity investment in ReNew Power is about Rs 2,327 crore, the largest in India´s renewable energy industry. The company is also looking forward to participating in the upcoming phase of the National Solar Mission, which aims to add 1,500 MW to the country´s current solar capacity of 2,600 MW.
