Cera to acquire European brands

Cera Sanitaryware Ltd (CSL), the third largest sanitary ware company in India, plans to acquire some European sanitary ware brands. The company will invest about Rs 100 crore towards its expansion in India and abroad. It will invest about Rs 20-30 crore for brand acquisition and Rs 35-40 crore to expand capacity within a period of one and a half year. The company will increase its production capacity from 21 lakh pieces to 27 lakh pieces per year. It will also start production of faucets at Kadi plant near Ahmedabad.
