NMDC plans pipeline between Chhattisgarh and Vizag

NMDC plans to invest about Rs 2,400 crore to lay a pipeline between Chhattisgarh and Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. The proposed pipeline will transport iron ore from Bailadila mine in Chhattisgarh to Vizag. NMDC plans to shift its iron ore export base from Tamil Nadu to Andhra Pradesh, as it is closer to company's mines in Karnataka.
