The Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) is planning to open four new iron ore mines as it anticipates a deficit in iron and supplies from March 2020. Also, it will be reportedly scaling up output at its existing flagship operations at Daitari and Gandhamardhan and will be banking on enhanced mechanisation.
