Essel Group acquires Rs.400 cr Mumbai property

Zee Entertainment Enterprises´ Essel Group has acquired 2.20 lakh sq ft commercial space in Marathon Futurex complex in Mumbai for over Rs 400 crore. The group will be shifting headquarters from Worli to this new office spread over top seven floors of Marathon Realty´s Tower-II, which signals a dramatic recovery for Mumbai´s commercial property market after three years of sluggish growth. This deal is also a major vote of confidence for locations including Lower Parel, Worli and Prabhadevi that have emerged as competitors to BKC as a business district despite transport bottlenecks. Salarpuria Sattva Launches East Crest Salarpuria Sattva has pre- launched East Crest in Bengaluru with 667 units. This is the company´s third launch in a span of three months. In September 2014, the group launched two premium gated projects, which accounted for a total of 1,200 units. These launches have catered to the younger age group segment mainly from the IT sector population by providing smaller-sized 1BHK homes, suiting their needs.
