Ahmedabad Metro rail project awards first work order

Ahmedabad Metro rail project has awarded its first work order for Rs 278 crore. Expected to start by March, the project involves 6 km Vastral-Apparel park stretch of Metro rail project construction. The work order is for the construction of elevated viaduct from Vastral Gam to Apparel Park upto Ramp Start in Reach R-1 (Excluding the portions of Metro Rail Stations) including construction of viaduct for the portion leading upto interface location of Metro Depot (East-West Corridor) in Khokhra area from the diverting point near Apparel Park Metro Rail Station.
