Centre to spend Rs 20 cr on Rajasthan roads

The Union Road Transport Ministry has announced in­vestments worth Rs 20,000 crore on highways in the state  during the next two years. It recently launched the four-laning of Gomati-Chauraha-Udaipur section of NH-8. Furthermore, another Rs 3,000 crore worth of project is in the process of being sanctioned and the rest will awarded through EPC contracts.  Contact: Ministry of Road Transport & Highways.
