Chhattisgarh plans road works worth Rs 170 cr in naxal areas

Chhattisgarh Government has planned an outlay of Rs 170 crore to build roads in the naxal-affected areas of Bastar region. The government will expedite development works such as construction of bridges in the infested areas and construction of concrete roads in the interior areas. The government will award the work to a new agency as the Border Roads Organisation had earlier failed to complete the road construction work in Bastar on time. Contact: Chhattisgarh Government.
