Haryana-Punjab to name airport

The governments of Punjab and Haryana are yet to agree over naming the jointly developed airport in their common capital Chandigarh since the last five years. The international airport is being developed by the two states in partnership with the Centre. The Union Civil Aviation Ministry has recently suggested a common name, which both the governments are yet to accept.
