Heliport in Rohini area

The environment ministry has accorded an in-principle approval for constructing a Rs 64 crore heliport on 25 acre in Rohini. The helipad will have sufficient facilities to cater to a sizeable number of passengers. A 2,000 sq m terminal building, which can be expanded further, will be constructed and will have parking facilities for more than 100 cars along with terminal curbside and roadways.The new air landing facility in Delhi will have at least four hangars capable of maintaining large helicopters like the army's Mi 172.
