NOCL mulls captive port in TN

Nagarjuna Oil Corporation (NOCL) is planning to set up a captive port in Tamil Nadu to support its upcoming Rs 7,160 crore petroleum refinery project at Thiruchopuram. The port will be part of the company's additional investment to build key infrastructure facilities. It will receive 6.5 mn tonne of crude oil and ship around 2.8 mn tonne of refined petroleum products every year. The 6 mtpa refinery is likely to be ready by December this year.
