Luxury artistic residence by Sanjyt Syngh Design Studio

This 2400 sq ft space has been designed with a brief to create a vibrant space with loads of colour without it looking like a kid’s nursery. It also houses a gym inside. This home has a dedicated personal area located away from the formal areas. Located in South Delhi, this home has a three-sided view with plenty natural light. Each space in this home is a combination of different colours and materials with a strong focus on details. With an idea to give each room its own identity, art plays a major role in enhancing the look of this space.


The living room, television room and dining room make the public area of this home. The highlight of the television room is the yellow cabinet that hoists the television. The rest of the room is crafted in furniture in a muted grey that livens up the cabinet even more.


Living room of this home evokes individuality filled with colours. The furniture is blue and pink fashion colours livening it up with a designer chandelier. An artwork on the wall gives depth to the space and completes it. A floral patterned circular carpet pulls in the furniture together and binds all the elements to one string.


Following suite to the artistic nature of this home, the dining area is also adorned with an artwork on the wall. A sculpture sits distinguishingly on the black glass top table and stands apart in its contrast nature to the theme of the space.

As the home traverses to the personal areas, the bedroom, a similar thematic artistic expression following in the bedrooms as well.


A pink cabinet sits flawlessly on the backdrop of a white wall in the guest bedroom, complimented by a grey bed with bold colours added with its pillows. The bedside table is a classical design in a rather striking colour that grabs attention and draws one to it. One both adjacent accent walls sit beautiful artworks that bring depth to the look of the room.


The master bedroom is a larger space with a king size bed and an upholstered bed back. With a black and white theme, it is created as a neutral zone for peace and tranquility. At one end of the room sits a couch in a muted colour that blends seamlessly in the room. Quirky wall art breaks the monotony of the space.

The interior of each space is equipped with modern furniture, some of the focal pieces have been designed and manufactured by Sanjyt Syngh Design Studio. Lighting from various brands exudes contemporary glamour. Natural light bathes the space through floor to ceiling glazing, acting as an asset in which subtle features and surfaces anchor themselves. Art and colour have played a major role in defining this space. Each element has taken its place in this space and added to a look that is luxurious and sophisticated.

Every space is a mix of layers. Each layer plays an important role. The flooring is Botticino Classic while the ceilings are a mix of POP and wooden panelling. The furniture is either designed by Sanjyt Syngh or sourced by Sanjyt Syngh from various brands. The lighting is from Angel Ventures and Lightbox.

The rugs are from Lightbox and Jaipur Rugs.
