AkzoNobel Launches Interpon Structura Coatings in South Asia

AkzoNobel has introduced its popular Structura range of Interpon D powder coatings to the South Asian market, catering to architects, designers, and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The range combines in-demand colours and refined textures with superdurable performance to deliver long-lasting results.

The Interpon D2525 Structura collection offers 19 popular RAL colours and 18 on-trend shades. Its fine-textured finish enhances aluminium and steel surfaces with a sense of quality and depth, while ensuring significantly higher gloss retention and strong resistance to colour change.

Designed to withstand diverse climates, the range pairs aesthetic appeal with exceptional durability and weatherability. It comes with up to a 20-year integrity warranty when applied by an Interpon D approved applicator and meets AAMA 2604 performance requirements.

The textured finish offers greater resistance to scratching and marring, reducing the need for touch-ups or re-spraying, which saves energy, time, and costs. It also helps conceal minor substrate defects. The coating’s superdurability extends the period between cleans, reducing water and chemical use.

Şirvan Canitez, Regional Commercial Director for AkzoNobel Powder Coatings in South Asia, said: “The diversity of this range and the careful attention given to the design and science behind it is yet another example of our commitment to delivering resilient coatings in demanding environments that endure over time without compromising on style.”

The Interpon D2525 Structura range is supported by an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), with its raw materials, manufacturing, and transportation independently assessed for transparent sustainability credentials.
