Mahagenco´s six new units get coal linkage

Mahagenco has finally received coal linkage for its new units. The standing linkage committee (SLC) of the Coal Ministry agreed to grant temporary linkage for two years to six new units of the company having a total generation capacity of 3,230 MW. These include three 660 MW units in the Koradi Thermal Power Station, of which one was commissioned in December 2015. The commissioning of the second one is expected soon while the third one will go online in June.
