MGL and BMC to establish a compressed biogas (CBG) plant in Mumbai

Mahanagar Gas and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) are working together to build a 1000 TPD compressed biogas facility in Mumbai.

At its facility, which would be built on a plot of land that BMC would supply, the city gas distribution firm will process segregated food and vegetable waste.

The trash, sometimes referred to as CBG feedstock, will be gathered from the city's eateries, banquet facilities, hotels, and sizable vegetable markets/mandis.
