Aurangabad DM´s bid to speed up Nabinagar power plant work

The Nabinagar Power Generation Company (NPGC) is expected to start generation at the Nabinagar power plant project from October 2017. The major hurdles of the 2,000 MW project have been resolved after an initiative by Aurangabad district magistrate giving hope to speedy completion of the project. The project is already delayed by a year. It needs 2,800 acre, out of which 2,500 acre has been acquired. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 11,000 crore.
