Bajaj Group power plant´s second unit attains full capacity

The Lalitpur Power Generation Co Ltd (LPGCL), part of the Bajaj Group, has successfully commissioned the full load capacity of its second unit by achieving generation of 665 MW. The group is setting up a thermal power plant of 1,980 w (660 x 3 MW), of which the first unit of 660 MW was commissioned in September 2015 and the second unit of 660 MW was synchronised recently. The second unit has achieved full capacity, and a little more, within days of the unit being synchronised. The third unit of 660 mw is expected to be commissioned by March 2016.
