Gayatri Projects to develop Krishnapatnam power project

Gayatri Projects Ltd is developing a 1,320 MW coal-fired power project in Krishnapatnam in a joint venture with Singapore-based Sembcorp Industries Ltd. The project involves a total outlay of Rs 6,869 crore. Gayatri holds 51 per cent of the joint venture Thermal Powertech Corp India Ltd (TPCIL) and Sembcorp the remaining 49 per cent.
