NTPC lines up Rs 1.38 tn worth capex

NTPC plans to spend Rs 47,169 crore on projects that are currently being set up, involving 12,428 MW generation capacity. Another Rs 91,353 crore will be spent on projects under award, tender or planning, with a total capacity of 15,100 MW. The total capital expenditure for establishing an additional capacity of 27,528 MW would be Rs 138,522 crore.
